AWESOME!! What a FANtastic way to display your Daylilies! What is the daylily on the second row down, 5th one in from left to right? Wonderful idea! Thanks for sharing..
Thanks so much! Okay, that daylily is Captivating Smile, a Rice daylily. It doesn't always look like that! Believe it or not, it is the same daylily three over to the left (next to Jane Trimmer on the end, second row). I can't explain why it sometimes is more pink than purple. The purple one was taken on June 29th and the pinkish one was taken on June 27th! I didn't mean to put it in twice, but I had something like 369 photos to narrow down and I just hit the ones that caught my eye.
If you look on his site, http://johnricedaylilies.com/captivating.htm, you will see that neither of those shots looks like his! However, I got it directly from him. I suspect it needs time to settle in. This was just its first year here...and you know what they say, you gotta give them a few years! It will be interesting to see what it does this year!
Well, that's probably more than you wanted to know...lol!
Gotta Comment? Great! Thanks in advance for taking the time. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, assuming I'm not in the garden...because there, I lose all track of time...(Don't you?)...Take care now.

Wonderful collages! I think daylilies are the most underappreciated garden plant. I have many plants but nothing like your collection! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Shall I confess that the collage has only...maybe 1/6th of my daylilies? No, better not...lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
