On top is my new orchid, Burr Nelly Isler 'Swiss Beauty', from the Maymont Show opening up....and below is my amaryllis, hippeastrum 'Jewel', with all four buds open.
This oncidiae intergeneric hybrid combines Oncidium, Miltoniopsis and Vuylstekeara. It is easy to grow under a wide range of conditions and can bloom twice per year.
I especially like the second sentence...I hope they're right! We shall see...
