Hi yolanda elizabet! You know I do...lol! Us collecting types are never satisfied. And, yes, now I am forced to be on the hunt for some gardening shoes with style!
Hello christa: It really was. That clay urn type thing to the right was filled with green hellebores. Pretty also, but not as striking as all those blooms floating in the water. And, me, too...thought the moss was a nice touch! Thanks for coming by!
I love gardening shows. Your hellebores are really pretty. I saw that you are a daylily enthusiast. They are one of my passions too - and like you, I have no intention of getting over plants! Jean
Hi Jean! Yes, indeed, love those daylilies! Thanks very much!
Hello salix tree! Hard not to like a flower that can take what hellebores do! There are many lovely green ones, although I am not personally a big fan of them. I think my daughter prejudiced me when she was young. She once remarked (about a green flower), "It looks like it is not quite done." Stuck with me! Silly, the things we remember!
Hi Paul: I'm pleased to hear that they're nice! I do get their emails, but it is a bit of a drive for me...but I never say never! Lucky you to attend! I'm happy with the ones I purchased from them at the show.
Yesterday, I picked up a couple more (it never stops) from the Pine Knot Folks as they had a place at the Lewis Ginter sale. One is variegated (yippee!! I lost my last one...) and one is a white double (small, but I still grabbed it!)...So, now I think I have three doubles! I'm excited!
Gotta Comment? Great! Thanks in advance for taking the time. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, assuming I'm not in the garden...because there, I lose all track of time...(Don't you?)...Take care now.
So pretty!!!!!! I just love hellebores, don't you? And it seems that year after year they come up with even more varieties of these lovely plants.
ReplyDeleteA woman can never have too many shoes or too many hellebores. :-)
Beautiful display. I've never seen so many varieties of hellebores. I like the mosses on there too. Thanks for sharing the photo. Very pretty!

Lovely flowers, helebores. And they bloom when all other plants are sleeping in winter. I do like the green ones a lot, an unusual color for a flower.
