It's Still Early....

....but, we do have a few daylilies getting going!

STELLA'S RUFFLED FINGERS

WAITING IN THE WINGS

FIRESTARTER

SCRAMBLED LEGS:

INKY FINGERS

CAROLYN HUNT

With the exception of WAITING IN THE WINGS and STELLA'S RUFFLED FINGERS, the rest are all their very first flowers for the 2008 season. I've been waiting to see SCRAMBLED LEGGS for over a year (at last, it blooms!) and it did not disappoint. Although registered at 7.5 inches, that bloom looks huge today. I'm guessing somewhere in the 9-10 inch range. INKY FINGERS has a bit of damage, but still not bad to open the season with...especially after our heavy rain last night.

I'm planning to finish up the pictures on garden two of the AHS National Tour....hope to get them up tonight.

  2. You daylilies are wonderful. I have only one in yellow and no-name. :-) It still needs a little time though to bloom. It is time for campanula and roses in my blog. Take care, Andrea from Germany

Gotta Comment? Great! Thanks in advance for taking the time. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, assuming I'm not in the garden...because there, I lose all track of time...(Don't you?)...Take care now.
