We've arrived now at our final stop for Day One, Loris and Karen Garrett's Benvenuti Garden. The Annie T. Giles and Edna Lankart Beds are here for us to view as well. It's after 3:00 pm but the daylilies in this garden are still beautiful and waiting for us.

We're heading back to the hotel now. It's been fun, hasn't it? Special thanks to the Garretts for all their hard work...and a beautiful garden. If you missed any of the previous four gardens, you can find them here or under the Labels list. Day One didn't end with the gardens...oh no...back at the hotel, the Boutique was open with daylily themed things for sale. Then there was a very informative and interesting Rust Forum. After the forum, it was back to our rooms to get ready for dinner. The time just flies by and before you know it, it's time to hit the sack for a bit of rest before that early morning breakfast buffet and another day of gardens.

Stay tuned for Day Two with four more gardens...

  5. What an amazing gift you have given us! I have never seen such fabulous parade of daylilies nor would have if not for you. Appreciate the time it took to label and show the rest of us 'daylily fanatics' what the world has to offer. Big thanks!

Gotta Comment? Great! Thanks in advance for taking the time. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, assuming I'm not in the garden...because there, I lose all track of time...(Don't you?)...Take care now.
