....not that you'd choose to have one. I certainly didn't. But, I do....two, no less. Many thanks to the thoughtless folks who put loose bags in their trash. In case you're curious, they're way up there...at least second story high. We get the pleasure...not...of waiting for the wind to whip them around long enough to tear them and send them elsewhere. One has been there since just after Christmas....the other, after last Tuesday's trash pickup.
Because you know you want to see it closer...
Oh look...it's starting to tear...maybe it will only hang around...another month or two...
And the newest ornament on a Crepe/Crape Myrtle....
Let's get really close so you can enjoy it in all its...beauty...
Now, don't everyone run out there all at once to have one for yourself...just wait...I'm sure there are plenty to go around.
Oooh, that is a nice one. You should have saved it for GBBD!
ReplyDeleteThere's a YELLOW one down the street in a neighbor's tree and it's been there forever...drives me nuts every time I drive by...gotta love it!

LOL! Funny.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of "American Beauty" where the creepy guy seems to think watching a bag float in the air is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. It's not. It's trash.
ReplyDeleteOn my street, several times a week, someone tosses out a fast food bag and their cup. Can people really not wait a few minutes until they get home to throw their trash away?
Argh...I hate it when that happens:)
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely ornament! That crap is all over the streets here too. I would go clean it up if i wasn't scared of getting shot or something.
ReplyDeleteRecycle people!!!
Hi EAL....ha!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lynn...yikes.
Thanks, Chandramouli...
Tom, I feel your pain. I am constantly amazed (well, not really...sadly) at what people do/don't do.
Me, too, Jan...especially at my house!
Well, I have good news of sorts. The Crepe/Crape Myrtle one has actually blown out and is, undoubtedly, hanging somewhere else. Of course, I can't cheer yet...as today is trash day...and another may already be in place.
The first one, in the Japanese Zelkova continues to hang on...endlessly.
Thanks for the comments!
You said it, flowergirl1!! (Getting shot??! You take care...there...must be some tough gardening going on...)
ReplyDeleteThe photos alone are quite the commentary. :-) Thanks for sharing.
