Back....

....and it's June...already! Where did May go?? Oh, that's right...I spent a good deal of it traveling. The up side to that means there will be lots of pictures forthcoming...eventually....I'll just start here with my return from Florida....

Doesn't your car look like this?

Or this?

Driving with daylilies...

This one my DH likes...he says it says it all...

One of the Florida beauties (Born to Run, if you're curious) through the window...

Here are some (only some) of the car's contents the next day sitting on my driveway (they haven't realized they're not in Florida any more...lol)

Violet Becomes You...

Cerulean Warbler...

The aforementioned Born To Run...

Fire Agate...

and Tricolor...

Walter Kennedy...

This is just a teensy little taste of what I saw in Florida and not even all of what rode home with me...wait until you hear about three days of touring (in the rain, no less)...and beyond that, Plant Delights in NC....visiting the Hosta Guru...and the San Antonio Botanical Gardens....and we're not even beginning our bloom season here in Virginia! Of course, you know I mean Daylily Bloom Season (worthy of caps)...

Ohmygoodness! These are absolutely beautiful new acquisitions! (You won't run out of room, will you??) I've just planted 'Startle' and 'Spiritual Corridor' this Spring. :-)

Wowie, those are beauties! My irises are finished, and I had an early blooming daylily bloom, so now, I'm ready for my other day lilies to show off. I have a few new ones that I planted in the fall, so I'm very excited for day lily season, which really peaks in July here.

That's great. LOL. It looks just like my car when I go out hunting for some new plants!
I am having a habit of coming home from trips with new plants as well and the trips were not even garden trips!

Lol, Linda!

Hi Shady Gardener...of course, I am out of room! Lol! I stay that way! Such is life...I'll think about where they will go later...By the way, Spiritual Corridor is a lovely daylily! I'm not as familiar with Startle, so I'll look to you to hear about how it is...

Yeah, Sue, I expect peak to be late June-early July here...it's such an exciting time! I wish you loads of beautiful blooms!

Hi Colleen...I so know....the car just pulls into these places by itself! I remember visiting San Diego last year...true story...and simply looking for a place to turn around...just randomly thought here and pulled into a parking space...I looked up and it was a garden center! A really neat one...so I just had to go in (such a drag when you're flying, you know...limits things)...my DH, of course, found that hysterical that I just happened upon a garden center...but I did!

Thank you all....I'm so happy June is here!

Am loving your car load of daylilies! Daylily season is just beginning here in s. IL. Every year for our anniversary (June 25) DH and I take a nursery hopping trip to buy more daylilies. Our car will look like yours very soon! Can't wait! ~~Rhonda :)
