Hi Greenthumb! It was not too bad, mostly gone by the afternoon. I just thought it oddly interesting that the redbuds were covered in snow...don't think I had seen that before! It was not what I wanted to wake up and see, however!
Hi Kate: Who would have thought it?! Lol! Today is sunny and bright...and you'd never know...except for the pictures!
Hi Blackswamp_girl: See, you all weren't the only ones! Although it was gone by Easter. Thankfully!
Hi Carol: I'm thinking that...strangely...we might have been lucky to have had the snow. I think it insulated things because...knock on wood...I can find no damage from it...things that are not doing well were not doing well before.
Hi Chris/gardenmomma: Funny! Thanks!
Hi Tricia: Only the morning of April 7th! So far... Looks like after Tues, we're projected to stay above 40...I hope that's true...I can get the things out of the garage!

I LOVE comments and want to take a moment to thank you for taking the time to post one. Please do not be offended if I don't respond right away...I will, hopefully, get back to you...before too long. Life gets busy and I don't always respond promptly. I do value your contribution, so thanks for coming over!

Give me odorous at sunrise a garden of beautiful flowers where I can walk undisturbed (preferably in my pajamas)

I appreciate the misunderstanding I have had with Nature over my perennial border. I think it is a flower garden; she thinks it is a meadow lacking grass, and tries to correct the error.

Hi Gotta garden! it must be almost impossible to garden in such snow, but the snow seems beautiful.
The pics too are fascinating.
The redbuds in snow look quite stunning, although not a very welcome sight in April. Thankfully the snow melted ...
Oooh... those redbuds look really pretty in the snow, though!
At least we just had the cold here, no snow! Ugh, snow! How can it be?? I just don't rememeber anything quite like this spring.
Snow, snow, go away! Come back... a longggg time from now! But I agree with the others, the redbud is wonderful in the snow!
